Used for
Moving bulk water by road, where the tank is filled, carried on a truck bed and discharged at the delivery point. Two things in the specification follow from that duty rather than from storage: the fabric is minimum 1100 g/m2, several times the base weight of a static tank, because a loaded bladder flexes and abrades against the truck bed in transit; and the material is opaque to inhibit algae growth, since a transport tank spends its time in daylight. The inlet and cap sit on top so the tank can be filled without unloading. Filling is usually from a Centrifugal Pump Diesel Driven through a Lay-Flat Rapid Fitting Hose, and the delivered water is decanted into a Water Tank Collapsible or a Collapsible Water Container on arrival.
Packing and documentation

Questions buyers ask
What are the dimensions and capacity of this bladder tank?
4 m long, 2.2 m wide and 0.65 m high, with a maximum capacity of 6 tonnes.
Why is the fabric heavier than on a static tank?
It is specified at minimum 1100 g/m2 because a loaded bladder flexes and abrades on a truck bed in transit, where a static tank sits still.
Is it designed for transport or for storage?
Transport. The specification states it is designed specifically for use on trucks for water transport.
Why is the material opaque?
To inhibit algae growth, which matters for a tank that spends its working life in daylight.
How much chlorine will the liner tolerate?
0.5 mg per litre continuously at 35 C, and a peak of 5 mg per litre during cleaning, without alteration of the stored water.
Where are the fittings?
An inlet and cap on top of the tank, so it can be filled in place on the vehicle.
