Minerals Used in Paints Industry, Set of 15 Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : SCL-RS-11957
The Paint Industry
Mineral Collection is a diagnostic 20-specimen reference set comprising
essential pigments, extenders, and functional fillers used in industrial
coating formulations. Engineered for University-level Chemical Engineering and
Vocational TVET curricula, it facilitates the study of opacity, rheology, and
corrosion resistance. Authenticated to meet standards for Tertiary and
Secondary laboratory procurement.

Key Pedagogical Outcomes
·
High-Refractive
Index Extenders (Barytes, Calcite, and Talc): Enables students to evaluate the impact of particle geometry on
paint film thickness and gloss control, supporting in "Rheological
Material Characterization."
·
Natural
Pigment Variants (Ochre Yellow, Red Ochre, and Manganese): Facilitates empirical study of UV stability
and coloristic properties in solvent-borne systems, supporting "Industrial
Chemistry."
·
Lamellar
and Reinforcing Minerals (Mica, Pyrophyllite): Allows for the visualization of
barrier-effect mechanisms for corrosion protection, reinforcing "Surface
Coating Engineering" and "Polymer Science" curricula.
International Logistics & Compliance
To ensure the chemical
and physical integrity of the natural specimens during transcontinental
maritime transit, all collections are vacuum-sealed with desiccant in
moisture-barrier primary packaging and housed in export-grade seaworthy crating
(ISPM-15 compliant). International procurement documentation includes the
Manufacturer’s Authorization Form (MAF), IQ/OQ/PQ Certification, and User
Manuals in English. The collection is fully tropicalized; all showcases and
mounting substrates are treated with anti-fungal inhibitors and tested for
durability in environments reaching 45°C and 90% Humidity to prevent surface
oxidation or adhesive failure in extreme climates.
