The Centrifugal Pump Diesel Driven is a self-priming centrifugal pumping set rated at 50 cubic metres per hour at around 2900 RPM against 20 metres total manometric head for a 1 m suction head, coupled directly to a matching diesel engine and mounted on a two-wheel trolley or a steel skid. It is the largest of the three pumping sets in the Water and Sanitation range.

Used for
Bulk water transfer at the top of this range: filling tankers, charging storage from an open source, or dewatering, where 50 cubic metres an hour is the duty. Being self-priming, the set lifts from a flooded or near-flooded suction without manual priming each start, and the two-wheel trolley lets one person reposition it between draw points; the pre-drilled skid is the alternative where the set stays put and is bolted to a foundation. The suction and discharge diameters are not fixed at a single size, so the supplier matches the most efficient inlet and outlet for the ordered capacity from the 50 to 150 mm range. Discharge usually runs through a Lay-Flat Rapid Fitting Hose into a Water Tank (bladder) or a Water Tank Collapsible, with a Cast Iron Check Valve holding the column on shutdown. For smaller duties the 20 m3 per hour set and the 10 m3 per hour set cover the same head.
